New York
The Society of St. Andrew has
delivered nearly 22.8 million pounds of salvaged potatoes and other food
to the needy in the state of New York through the
Potato
Project. This has resulted in nearly 68.4 million servings of food
going to New York's hungry.

Gleaning in New York:
Our New York gleaning office
is located in Owego. The approximate area for gleaning in New York
is shown on the map below.
Gleaning in New York takes
place as long as the weather cooperates. Most
gleaning events take place on weekends where gleaners arrive in the
fields around 8:00 a.m. and are on their way home by noon. The Society
of St. Andrew's gleaning coordinator makes all arrangements with farmers
and for produce containers and food distribution.
